The 2015 Kia Sedona made its grand debut in the Big Apple at last week’s New York Auto Show. Using Crossover appeal, plenty of cargo and people room and brand new technology, Kia aims to redesign your thinking about the family van.
INFLUENCED BY THE CROSSOVER
Style-wise, the Sedona was inspired by CUVs, with an updated front fascia and cab-forward design that projects confidence and strength. LED headlamps and a bold front grille greet you up front, and the rear layout features LED taillights, integrated bumpers guards, a standard roof spoiler and a bold, stable bearing.
Inside the 2015 Sedona will feature more front shoulder room, greater front leg room, and better visibility for the driver. The Sedona features options for seven or eight passengers. The all-new Sedona will also feature new storage areas in the front seats, and slide-n-stow options in the second row. But if your legroom needs exceed your storage needs, move the seats back further that ever, giving you the most comfortable van ride you’ve ever had.
Along with the style and space updates, the other highlight of this Sedona debut is the all-new Next-Generation UVO Infotainment and Telematics option on the 2015 Kia Sedona. This will be the first Kia product to offer eService features such as Geo-Fencing, Speed Alert, Curfew Alert and Driving Score.
A new Kia App Store debuts in the all-new Sedona as well. Download apps from iTunes or the Google Play story, including Pandora, iHeartRadio, Yelp and so much more. The new Sedonda also features comfort and convenience features including Siri “Eyes-Free,” local search powered by Google, SiriusXM Traffic Link, and so much more.
Under the hood, the Sedona will feature a 3.3 liter V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Sedona will hit the lot later in 2014. Stay with the Waikem Kia blog to learn the latest news on this all-new van.
