Kia’s top models were ranked at the top of the class this year for total quality. The Kia Soul and Kia Optima topped Strategic Vision’s Total Quality Index this year, an annual study of true car owner’s experience.
Strategic Vision surveys more than 38,000 new car owners, asking them about the reliability, vehicle problems, driving excitement and other emotional measures involved in ownership experience. The Soul was No. 1 in the small multi-functional car segment for the second consecutive year, and the Optima finished at the top in its segment.
“Strategic Vision analyzes both the holistic and the tangible aspects of what influences quality,” said Christopher Chaney, senior vice president of Strategic Vision. “Kia has both one of the lowest percentages of owners reporting problems and very strong ratings in exterior workmanship, interior styling and thoughtfulness with one of the highest customer safety scores.”
The Soul had its first redesign in 2014, adding great new style and great technology. It’s longer and wider than previous models, with more hip and leg room for everybody. An updated list of standard features include Bluetooth, satellite radio and MP3 capabilities.
The all-new Optima also comes with great technology including standard Bluetooth, and USB audio capabilities. The Optima also comes with Kia’s world famous “tiger nose” grille, and plenty of styling and engine options. Learn more now.
