Kia Soul is Again the Most Appealing Vehicle in its Class

The Kia Soul has again earned the APEAL award from J.D. Power and Associates, now making it the third consecutive year the Soul was named the most appealing compact multi-purpose vehicle.

What stands out about the Soul is its all-new redesign for 2014. Sure the previous models took home the trophy two years in a row, but the Soul was redesigned for the new year with all new style and some great special features. The J.D. Power APEAL study measures new-vehicle owners overall satisfaction in the first 90 days of ownership.

The questionnaire is split into ten categories — satisfaction with exterior, interior, storage, audio, seats, heating and ventilation, driving dynamics, power train, visibility, fuel and economy.

If you or anyone you know already owns a Soul, you’ll see why it’s again the most appealing vehicle in its class. The all-new Soul offers more cargo space than ever, along with increased torque and suspension upgrades for a better ride quality. It also has a number of great standard features, including Bluetooth on every model.

“Since launching in 2009, the Soul has earned a devoted following thanks to its unique blend of attitude, style, technology and value,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Kia Motors America (KMA).  “Now in its second iteration, the iconic Soul remains true to its roots while adding refinement both inside and out. Taking top honors in its segment for the third year in a row in the J.D. Power APEAL study is further verification that the Soul just keeps getting better.”
