The Kia brand saw record sales in April 2014, including the sale of its 5 millionth vehicle in the United States.
Selling more than 53,000 vehicles in April, the Kia brand had its best April ever this year. Sales of theredesigned 2014 Kia Soul highlighted this strong sales month. The Soul was completely redesigned for the new year, with all new styling and more features than ever. Recently it’s been recognized by AutoTrader as a vehicle you must test drive in 2014. Edmunds called it the coolest car for soccer moms in a recent list.
It’s a year of celebrations at Kia. The brand is also celebrating its 20th year in the United States.
“The Kia brand has grown and matured in this market for two decades, and we reached another significant milestone in April by selling our five millionth vehicle in the U.S., which is a testament to our philosophy of advancing value to new levels of sophistication with world-class design, advanced technology and outstanding quality in every segment in which we compete, from sub-compact to luxury,”said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing, KMA.
In April, Kia also launched the 2015 Sedona at the New York Auto Show.
